Captain (Senior Lieutenant) – All ranks of Captain and below are usually prefixed by their sub-division, so for example Engineering Officer.Their ranks are structured thusly (listed is the actual rank and what it is equal to in brackets): There are three sub-branches to the Navy ranking structure – Flight, Engineering and Support. Grand Admiral (currently there are 8 known Grand Admirals, the highest ranking Imperial military designation, equivilant to a Supreme Commander).Grand Moff (a Moff in charge of an Oversector or priority sectors – sectors which are of great importance to the Emperor).Moff (the formal superior to all Planetary Governors, they are effectively sector governor’s).(Honoriific positions usually held by a Grand Admiral or Moff).These are just three large branches of the sprawling Imperial bureaucracy, it is not exhaustive. Ranks are listed in ascending order with the lowest first.
